To minimize the file size, I copy pivot tables by highlighting the are
and then copying the range into a new spreadsheet. However, whe
copying a worksheet, the pivot table size seems to grow dramatically.
It seems that the underlying database create by Excel for the pivo
table is copied, instead of just being referenced again (validated b
seeing that refreshing one pivot table does not refresh all pivo
tables).
How can I update the databases in the other worksheets (there are ove
30 graphs and tables) without recreating each worksheet using a cop
range as indicated in the beginning? Can I access the code and do th
reference database change there?
