pivot table duplicates numbers under 'drop down show all'?

my pivot table is listing the same number down the left side instead of
grouping together. For instance it should show the number 8 or 7 or 6 (as in
# of days) on the left and then it should total my count on the right. For
some reason it is listing 8 numerous times down the left column instead of
just once. why?

Perhaps the values are different in the source data. Some may have space
characters at the end, and will been seen as different strings in the
pivot table.
