Pivot table error when trying to refresh data

Getting the following error when I try to refresh a pivot
table...[Microsoft][ODBC dbase Driver] Unexpected error
from external database driver (8961).....

OS/application: win98 SE/Office 97 PRO
Have already re-installed Off97Pro.

Probelm resolved....found that BDE was installed on the PC.
