Pivot table field list

How can I prevent the Pivot Table field list from popping up every time I
open a pivot table or change the range, etc.?

In Excel 2000, the PivotTable toolbar moves out of place any time you
use the PivotTable wizard, but seems to stay put if you use other
commands or buttons.

There's no way to permanently dock it, AFAIK. However, if you
double-click the toolbar's title bar, it re-docks in its previous position.
