Excel 2000 ... I am new to Pivot Tables & now home, but
need to know how to do the following:
My data range is a1:z1000 (of course this is not exact
range because now I am home) ... Anyway, I have Pivot
Table layout setup as follows:
Page = empty
Column = 1 entry
Row = 2 entries
Data = 6 entries (all setup to "sum") & this works fine.
However, I wish to set 1 of the entries in the data
section to produce a percent (%) answer based on another
entry in the data section rather than the "sum" it is now
producing.
ie: Col K "sums" to 100 & Col B "sums" to 17.
I wish Col B to return the Percent it's "sum" is in
relation to the "sum" of Col K ... In other words 17%.
I am thinking the capability is here, but do not have a
clue. If so ... can one of you fine Excel Magicians
guide me thru the process? ... Thanks ... Kha
