pivot table sheet

Hello:
When i want to open the contents of a cell in a pivot table in a new sheet I
would like it to open in my saved "sheet.xlt" format. Instead I get it open
and I need to format it for printing. The question is why does it not allow
me to choose the default sheet. I am currently working in Excel 2000 will
this change in Excel 2007.
I do have some macros to convert some pivot tables to a print format that I
want to use.
