Pivot Table SubTotals

In excel 2003 I have a pivot table that I have filtered out to get the
information that I need to see. However when I use the sum function for a
column (company Name) the subtotals still show some of the company names that
I have filtered out. Does anyone know how to get rid of the names without a
value?
