I have a Pivot Table that displays Values for customers and by month for
2002 & 2003. At the end of the pivot table I have asked the pivot
table to display sum values for this year and last year. I was
wondering if I could refer to those 'sum of 2002' & 'sum of 2003' as
references to a calculated field. I am trying to perform some maths
with the sum of each year by calculated the % difference any
suggestions.
NB: My data comes from an external mdb file.
There of around 300,000 records and increasing around 10,000 per month
so manually touching things up is out of the question.
The data is a grouped value so one date value is supplied and I have
asked the Pivot Table to group by month & Year.
Any suggestions, what I am looking for are some useful sources of
information on creating Formulas for Calculated Items and Fields, and
perhaps a source of information where I might be able to VBA a
solution.
