Pivottable change in new version

In earlier versions, if you selected cells in a
pivottable, you received the cell addresses (e.g. =B6+B7),
in the newest version, you get GETPIVOTDATE formulas
instead. Is there a way to default to the older format?

to a toolbar, and toggling the feature on and off:
