PJ 2007 - Publish option greyed out

I have Project Server 2007 and Project Professional 2007 installed.
Connections to the server seem to work fine. However, the publish option
under the File menu is greyed out. Does anyone know why?

Alan,

Can you connect with Project Pro to the Project Server and open projects
from there?

If yes, make sure you open the projects in write mode - you will not be able
to publish a project in read-only mode.
