What is a platform anyway?

How do you test in different platforms (FP 2003)? Do you have to buy
special software for this?

What is the best way to test browsers and platforms?
Please Advise.

Download and install Firefox, Opera (free with ads is sufficient for
testing), if your budget permits get a Mac. If not, visit
http://www.danvine.com/icapture/ and put the url of your page in the form
there and wait until your turn comes up and you can see a screenshot of what
your page looks like in a Safari web browser on the Mac.

You can also subscribe to Browser Cam and get screen shots in a much wider
range of browsers.
