[CRITICAL UPDATE - If you are using Office 2003, you should install this
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello Jason,

PowerPoint does not have the ability to chain a sequence of audio files
together (you will need to combine the audio files into a single audio file
before inserting it into PowerPoint.

A very cool option in PowerPoint 97 is the Custom Soundtrack add-in. The
PowerPoint Custom Soundtrack Add-in allows you to add
electronically-generated background music to your slide shows. It also
provides smooth transitions from one electronically generated song, to
another. You can install this add-in from the following folder on the
Office 97 compact disc:

<drive>:\ValuPack\MusicTrk

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have suggestions as to how
PowerPoint improve it's options for controlling the insertion and/or
playback of audio (chaining songs, fade in-out, embedding more audio
formats, better link management, etc.), don't forget to send your feedback
to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
