Playing an mpg file in Powerpoint

When I insert an mpg video into PowerPoint 2007 - it plays, but there is no
sound. The sound is fine when played through the media player. What is
wrong?

Hi

Could be a codec issue maybe? PowerPoint doesn't use Media Player to play
videos so you need to test the video in the MCI Player instead. For the best
