playing around with animation

In addition to my earlier question.
Is there a way to have something disappear without having
to start an animation??? I have 3 bulletpoint and now I
want them to disappear after clicking on the mouse.
However you cannot do this with animate settings unless
you select a start animation first. All my other slides
are not animated, so it doesn't look consistent when for
this slide I start with an empty slide and have the
text "fly" in, just to have the bulletpoints to disappear?
(I"m sorry english is not my first language..therefore, my
lengthy posts). I hope that my problem has become clear.

You can fake it in PPT 2000 by creating a background-filled box and
animating that to come in and cover the text (dissolve entrance works
well for this).

In PPT 2002 (aka XP) or 2003, simply just add an exit effect. You don't
need an entrance in order to have an exit.

Next post, please include your PPT version. You may have included it in
your other thread, but since I've read other posts since I saw your
first thread, I can't remember anything about what you posted
previously.
