Playing CD continuously thru slide show

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) I want to play a CD throughout my entire slide show. I want it to start automatically with the first slide and continue uninterrupted thru my entire slide show. I don't want it to stop and start with each slide. I also want to hide the sound icon during the entire slide show. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
