When you webify your presentation, PowerPoint sets it up to only play sounds
on the first slide. Lucky for you there is a known way to edit the HTML to
fix this. This page from the FAQ should help. Be sure to read the linked
pages as well.

If you right click on the sound icon and then right click, you will see an
option for "custom animation". Make sure that "media object" is checked in
the up-left window. Select "multimedia settings'. Check on "play during
animation order" and also while playing "continue slide show". YOu also may
want to up the number of slides it lasts through to something like 100.
This works pretty well. I'm trying to figure out how to make it last on
the web. Oh well.
