Playing DVD from within PowerPoint

We have created some video files, which we are going to
burn to DVD. We have a requirement to play these through
PowerPoint 2003 in some situations, and I would rather be
able to play the source VOB files, rather than an actual
DVD disk. Can you recommend a way/software to achieve
this?
