I am using Windows XP 2002 and Outlook 2002 -
When I send an e-mail using word HTML with the set up of rich text, and word
to edit e-mail messages, I used to have the capability of using the sound
device to insert midi's in my e-mails. All I had to do was click on the
sound device icon near my menu bar at the top of the e-mail note, and I
would get a pop up window. Then I would go the midi that I wanted to use
and click on it and then click ok. It would automatically play in my
e-mail, (it's not attached, I believe it becomes imbedded in the e-mail
note).
I recently updated my Microsoft updates (Service Pack 2), and now when I
click on the sound device icon it says -
This object was created in HTMLInlineSoundCtl. This application is not
available to open this object. Make sure the application is properly
installed and that it has not been deleted, moved, or renamed.
Please, need help as to how to correct this problem?
Thank you in advanced,
DJ
