Playing WMV files in PPT 2004

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

I have PPT training programs that are developed for the Windows environment and would like to use them on a Mac without having to change anything. The only issue I have seen so far is that the WMV video files that are inserted into the PPT file will not play using PPT 2204 even with Flip4mac installed. I can play the videos in QT and PPT 2008, but not PPT 2004. Any thoughts? It's like PPT 2004 does not recognize Flip4mac.
