Print Job

I am using MS Word 2003 and would like to have the option to superimpose
where a 3-hole punch would occur as I bind much of my printing and many times
my words get punched through.

This can be avoided by setting an adequate left (or inside) margin. You
don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how large that needs to
be.

If you really want to have margins so narrow that the holes would punch
through the text, then take out your ruler, measure where the holes will be,
and put small borderless text boxes (anchored to the header) in those
positions so the text will wrap around them. IMO, however, this would look
extremely unprofessional.
