Anyone notice how Microsoft has insulated themselves from the real world?
Like, it's easier to make changes to our systems and control us if they don't
have to answer to us. Great going Microsoft.

I not sure exactly what you problem is with outlook, but outlook allows you
to sort by first name, or last name, or by company, and you can even choose
a 2nd sorting field. I never had any problem with the sorting in
outlook....it is rather nice and flexible.

However, you might want to note that his is the WRONG newsgroup for your
question. This newsgroup for the office product called ms-access.

If you need more information on how to sort your contacts in outlook, then
try posting your question in one of the outlook newsgroups, and I sure you
will find a nice solution to what you are looking for...

Good luck...

Have no idea what you are talking about. I use Outlook all the time and
have no issue with how my items are displayed. Could it be user error or
ignorance?

In any case, this is a newsgroup for technical help with Microsoft Access.
