Please Close ALL Microsoft Office applications

Hi, when I shutdown or restart my system, I receive an error message advising
me to "Please close all Microsoft Office applications before shuttind down
the system".
I have a Dell system with 1G RAM, WindowsXp Pro and OfficeXp and I would
appreciate if someone could please advise em what settings I need to change
to stop this from occuring?

Thanks for hetting back to me garfield-n-odie, the article describes what to
do to get out of the situation and restart the system. I know how to do
this, what I am loikng for is a permanent fix that would prevent this from
happening and allow me shutdown the system without manually closing Outlook.
