Please Help!! Need to Access E-mail on vacation

Steph

My cousins are visiting and would like to check their e-mail, but we're all
pretty tech-challenged. They have a new Windows Vista computer at home and
use "Windows Mail" on their home computer. (they previously used outlook and
their e-mail address did not change when they got their new computer) How
can that access that account through the internet? What site do I need to go
to in order them them to log on? I've searched the microsoft site for almost
an hour and can't find anything about it. Any help would be greatly
appreciated

See if their mail host (probably their ISP) does Webmail....

That depends upon the nature of the account being accessed. They are using a
desktop mail client (Windows Mail), probably with an ISP email account. Most
ISP email accounts only offer POP3 access. If they never configured Windows
Mail to "leave messages on the server", then they won't be able to access
those messages, because Windows Mail will have deleted them on download.

OTOH, the ISP may offer web access to the account, and they would be able to
view newly arrived email by signing in with a web browser. Without knowing
which ISP your cousins have, I can't offer any more advice than this.

Have them use a web browser on your computer (since apparently they
aren't toting a laptop for their own use) to use the webmail interface
to their UNIDENTIFIED e-mail accounts.
