please help wont read office only

jgates824 \(takeout\) \(removethis\)

i am attempting to load my office student edition 2003.
i have a brand new hp with windows xp. it wont recognize
that there is a cd in the drive. i tried my friends disc
figuring that i would put my product key number in but it
didnt recognize that one either. it does recognize any
cd other than office. any suggestions? it would be
greatly greatly appreciated. thanks

problem. Try exploring the cd drive, if you can see the files copy them
and place them in a folder on the desktop and run it from there. (This
might be a cd drive issue)
