Hi ,

I have a workbook where I enter the data for drivers includin
postcodes, names etc, I have a new worksheet for each day and for eac
driver.

How can I set up another worksheet where everytime I enter a postcod
it collects this in the sepaerate worksheet, so that I then have a lis
of all the postcodes where we have delivered.

I hope that someone can help

Hi Andy

Why not make life easier for yourself by entering all the data for all
drivers and dates on the same sheet.

You could select any date, or any driver at time using Autofilter.

Assuming row 1 contains your column Headings, mark the range of cells in row
1, then Data>Filter>Autofilter

Hi Roger,

Thanks for the reply, the problem is that I print off each drivers
daily sheet, and we use this as a pick sheet for the warehouse staff,
so I have to have these seperate.

I am collating data for the postcodes so that I can import these into
Autoroute so that we can see where are busiest areas are etc.

Many Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy

I understand that, but there are other ways to achieve this.
For example, you could use Advanced Filter to pull data for an individual
driver to a separate sheet and print, then enter the next driver, refresh
and print etc.

You can get help on how to do this at Debra Dalgleish's site
http://www.contextures.com/xladvfilter01.html#ExtractWs

There are so many benefits from having all you data on one sheet to carry
out the analyses you require. Pivot Tables would give you the volumes by
postcode very easily.
Again, take a look at Pivot Tables on Debra's site.
