Please wait while Windows Configures Microsoft Office Enterprise 2

I am running Vista Business SP1 and Office 2007 Enterprise SP1. I am running
on a MacBook Pro using both Bootcamp and VMWare Fusion. Last week something
corrupted Vista and Windows would no longer validate. I finally got that
fixed but since then I have had problems with Office.

At first it was only on the VMWare Fusion image, I start any Office program
and get the message please wait while Office configures itself for the first
time. After 10-15 minutes it completes and says a reboot is necessary to
compelte the changes. I reboot and the whole thing starts over again. The
odd thing is that this did not happen when running native using bootcamp.

So i finally gave up last night and uninstalled Office Entrerprise and
Ofiice 007 Accounting and then reinstalled. I did not uninstall Project and
Visio 007 which are seperate installs. But I still ahve the same problem,
only now it is worse because Office will no longer run in the native bootcamp
mode.

Something seriously corrupted Vista when the validation error occured and it
has not run correctly since. It took about 5 hours to get it to re-validate
and it would not run in any mode. My gu tells me to just reformat and get it
over with because I don't have any more time to waste trying to get office to
run.

If anyone has any clue to get office running it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
