Pls help!! Cannot restore contact.bkup files

Hi! recently my pc is somehow corrupted and cannot start. So I had it
reinstall with Win98SE.
However I have use the Gateway backup/restore cd (mine is
Gateway.Performance- is a P3. 600 mhz
d/top pc). The rescue cd has renamed the former Win.folder to OLDWIN.whilst
the new installation was
WIN.folder.

I have also reinstall Office97.pro suite. However the Outlook prog. refused
to restore
my Outlook contact backup.files. Instead I get the error " File access is
denied.You do not
have permission required to access the file.
D:\Data\Archives\outlook.97.bkup\contact.backup.

What must I do to restore my files?

Pls advice and thank-you in advance.

Copy the file from CD and remove the "Read Only" file property of the file
and try again.
