Restore a Single Note from an Old .pst File?

I want to restore a single Outlook Note from a very old pst file, but I don't
want any of the other info to be restored. How can I do this?

Here's the details. Four years ago I had an Outlook Note (let's say it was
titled "John Doe's Stuff") which was backed up as part of my monthly .pst
backup to CD-ROM with all the other Notes, Mail, Calendar, Contacts and
Tasks. Later I deleted the note from my PC. Now, four years later I want to
restore that note but I don't want to add any of the old Mail, Calendar,
Contacts and Tasks to my current Outlook system. I just want to restore that
one, single Note called "John Doe's Stuff" from the pst file that's residing
an old backup CD-ROM.

I'm using Outlook 2003.

Any ideas?

Copy the pst file to your HDD. Remove the Read-Only attribute. Then in
Outlook do File-Open-Outlook Data File and navigate to where you copied the
file to. Then copy the note from the old pst file to the current. Then just
close the file (within Outlook).
