Pocket Excel Merge Cells

Can anyone please tell me how I can merge cells with
pocket Excel? For some reason, the format does not
translate from Excel to the pocket version.

Pocket Excel does not support merged cells.
As an alternative, try my program SpreadCE, available from
http://www.byedesign.freeserve.co.uk/
You will also need to turn off the Excel -> Pocket Excel file conversion in
ActiveSync.
