pocket pc - express and outlook

just bought a pocket pc, and had to upgrade express to the full outlook so
as to use the calendar. have you got to do this or can you run the 2 side
by side?

You can run the two side by side. Any particular reason you don't wish to
use Microsoft Outlook as your primary e-mail client?

Outlook is not an "upgrade" of Outlook Express. The two are unrelated*
applications.
