On prior Dell systems (two systems ago) sound recording and playback went
well in PP2003.
But on the last two Dell systems, most recently a new Dimension 9200 with a
nice Plantronics headset, the sound recording goes well, but the playback is
extremely low volume and full of static. Dell does not help me with this.
(Sound goes perfectly from the microphone through the system speakers.)
The headset works perfectly recording sound on an older Dell system.
Is there something I am missing about the system configuration that
interferes with the recording? Proximity to other components, etc.?
