POP accounts

can anyone help - i already have my hotmail account
running through outlook - i recently set up a website and
tried to set up a POP account through that. i went
through all the forms and even run the test (which waws
successful apparently) - unfortunately i cannot find any
emails to this new account in outlook. i can send from
the new address and this works - i send to the new
address and dont get back an error message, but alas it
does not show in outlook....can anyone help?

Bring up the folder list (CTRL + Y) and see if you have 2 "personal
folders". Hotmail tends to be in one because it is like an IMAP setup and
POP should be going into the other one.

thanx for taking the time to reply - yes in my folder
list i have the hotmail displayed and also the 'personal
folder' which i understand should be my POP email
inbox...like i said none of the emails are getting
displayed here but they are going somewhere?

Try doing an advanced find (ctrl + shift + f) for a single vowel (e.g. "e")
and set the folder to search in to "personal folders" (not the one that has
hotmail next to it). Maybe they are being stashed somewhere other than the
Inbox or you have a view that is hiding the messages.
