pop up pages help!!

I am using spawn to create pop up pages. I have
information on page "A" and page "B" has the link. After
going through the spawn process and hitting my link words
on page "B" the pop up page comes up but without the
information on page "A"

What have I done wrong? Can I put either the windows or
quickTime media player in a pop up page? How is it done?
