Pop3 connection error - The connection to the server was interrupt

I am connected to my lan with Outlook 2003 open. I then hibernate my machine
and take it home and connect it to home DLS service, wake it up from
hibernating, and Outlook reports the following error when attempting to
send/receive - The connection to the server was interrupted. The only way to
get it to send/receive is to shut down Outlook 2003 and open it back up
again. This did not happen with Outlook 2000 running on Windows 2000. The
only changes are that this is a new machine running Windows XP and Outlook
2003.
