Populate a form field automatically

Would like to populate a form field with a receipt number starting at a
number that I choose, say 1123, and each subsequent time the form was
refreshed the receipt number would increase by one. THe reason for this is
visitors to the page will not know what number we are working at internally
and so I would like to populate this one field automatically.

There is an ID number which is unique and grows by one each time for each
entry into the database already, but can you change that number to start at a
certain point of your choosing?

Thanks for any help with this question. I have access to FP 2000, 2003.
