Populating a second worksheet

I know it's possible to copy absolute values from one page to another but I'm
trying to copy text and I'm getting '0' in the cells that are blank. How can
I remedy this? Do I need to format cells? If so, on one sheet or both?

You could always suppress zeroes, Tools>Options>View>Zero Values in the
windows Options segment.

Thank you, Bob! Thank you! That's what I needed. I didn't realize that was
available.

This really is a great site.

You can also slect all the cells you just pasted in to, press the F5 key,
click on the special button, check Constants and make sure only Numbers is
selected below that. Click on OK, and you'll find that all the zeros are
selected (be careful if you also copied numbers - they'll be selected, too).
Then press the delete key to wipe them all out.

That works in MS Office Excel 2003, but I cannot find anything similar in MS
Office Excel 2007, which my company recently installed.

Any ideas?
