Can anyone tell me how to disable that annoying popup Paper Clip?
The one that says "You look like you are typing a letter".

I am trying to do just the oppisite. I want to change that annoying paper
clip to the cat, I think he's cool. But the gallery tells me there is not
enought memory to perform this function. I have a new system with 2MB dual
channel RAM. I think the problem is in Office XP somewhere, but I can't find
it. I hope someone can help.

I'm a cat person but I suggest not using it. Office 2007 no longer uses any
of the assistants so you might as well get accustomed to doing without him.

Heh, same here and as JoAnn pointed out, Clippy and his buddies are gone for
good in Office 2007 so it looks like our "camp" was successful. <grin>
