Port 80 N/A

When I try to open a web I get an error message saying it can't do so
because "FrontPage personal web server is not able to use port 80..."

What do I need to do to get this working?

Additional thanks will be given if you send a copy of your reply to

Many thanks for your prompt reply and especially for sending a copy to
<[email protected]>

I actually did a shutdown and restart and tried FrontPage (98) with no other
applications running.

Got the same result.

Got that result whether trying to import or create a Web, even a "one page
Web".

....on occasion I have gotten that message.

Just close out of FrontPage, both on the server side as well as the local
side. Then open your site again.

It doesn't seem to last.

Not sure why, unless you have attempted to open something twice.

Do you have any server support? Maybe they can suggest something.

No.

I do have a LAN running with this running XP and another running Me.
