Portfolio Analyzer & ie 8

Hi All,

I am using PWA Portfolio Analyzer 2003. I was running fine under ie 6. I
just upgraded to ie 8. Portfolio Analyzer does not show up anymore. it says
cube does not exisit or you dont have permissions. I'm on the Admin on the
Project Server. I searched throught the Web and this forum for an answer. no
luck. please help

Hi Hadi,

Add the URL of PWA to your Trusted Sites Zone. Make sure to set the
security level of the Trusted Sites Zone to 'Low'.
IE8 sets the security level of the Trusted Sites Zone to medium by default.

I'm not completely positive but you might also need to enable compatibility
options in IE8 in addition to Hans' suggestions.

Nop. still the same message. I adjsted the security settings for trusted
sites and added the site to the Compatiblity View. any other suggestions?

Hi Gary, this is what I get when I try to Open an OLAP cube View

Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube.

The cube may not exist, or you may not have permissions to access the cube.

Are you certain that the custom level security settings are set to allow
Active X, Access to data across domains, etc..?

Yes. I reset the custom settings to Low and all of the Active X settings are
enabled
