Portfolio Analyzer View Error

OK I have a client problem which has stumped me:

Project Server 2002 installation with Server and SharePoint on one Box SQL Server on a Cluster and OLAP on a third box. They are transitioning away from a Novell environment to Windows.

Here is the problem, The Cube build great and I can create views on the primary server as well as a some clients. However, most of the clients receive "Unable to access the Microsoft Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP Cube" when they go to portfolio analyzer in Web Access.

Here is what I have tried so far:

1. Checked and reran PSCom+
2. Confirmed Proxycfg had been run correctly.
3. Confirmed the Cube was correctly migrated
4. Confirmed the OLAP Administrator group was given permission to the cube and repository
5. Reinstalled OWC10 on the clients in question
6. Reviewed the Technet article suggesting problems with Novell networks and tested against a machine that is new and is only tied to the new Windows Domain and Active Directory.
7. I even confirmed the Spooler did not have any errors showing

HELP!!! Does any one have a suggestion?

I had the same problem. I brute-forced it. You need to
start Analysis services, analysis manager. Expand until
you find your cube, expand to database roles, then right
click and then click on manage roles. Click to create a
new role and put every user who needs access to the
portfolio analyzer in that role. It is a pain but it
works. It is actually in the documentation somewhere but
it took me hours to find it.

It's actually in the Installation Guide and is the section "After installing
Project Server" which is immediately after the installation steps.
Unfortunately, many folks think that they don't have to read past the part
where Project Server physical installation is complete.

Martin (hint) - This is also covered in my book; I know you have a copy.
