Portfolio Analyzer views in Project Server 2003 Using SQL 2005

S

Scanners

I have got a system with

one SQL server with SQL 2003 SP2 with Analysis Server installed
Two Project Servers with Project Server 2003 SP3

I have installed the relevent components onto the project server and got the
cube to build.

When I try to create a new view it says unable to access the microsoft
office project portfolio analyzer OLAP cube.

I have created roles on the cube and added the users into it, I have also
added the relevent users group into the SQL OLAP local group on the SQL
server, I have also added the the same group onto the DSO9 folder on the SQL
server but still get the error.

If I try to open a view which has already been created then it comes up and
says "Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP
cube"

I have tryed this from the SQL server, both project server and a workstation

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong.

Hi,

I faced the same issue. There is no solution even by Microsoft support.
The work around is to use BI to manage the cube.
My 2 cents...
