I would like to view this report in portfolio analyzer
- Resource Name
- number of projects involved --> how to get this number ??
- number of active projects involved
- % resource usability: (all project) [in working days] x % resource
allocation / total project days

I've been thinking about this challenge of yours.

I think that without extending the OLAP cube, you cannot get what you want
in an OLAP report. You could do it with SQL Reporting Services, and perhaps
also by exporting to an Excel Pivot Table.

Part of what you want is available directly in the Portfolio Analyzer:
Resources obviously can be dropped right in.
% Resource Usage can be done with a calculated field. Click the calculator
icon and define a summary calculation. Based on our previouos discussion,
the formula would simply be: Work / Availability. (Use the field dropdown
box to select the field; that will make the syntax correct).
