Hi,

I have created several custom cost fields and I want to use them in the
analyzer. I am running Project Server 2003. Why can't I see these custom
fields when I build the view? They are not available for choices in the
analyzer?

Laureen ,

This cannot be done in 2003, in the 2007 version one can add custom
fields to the cubes.

One can go and create a "Virtual Cube" in Sql though, that should
enable you to view whatever you need to, but one cannot save that
virtual cube.

Sorry

In Project Server 2003, you can only add custom enterprise Project and
Resource outline code fields. You cannot add custom enterprise fields, such
as your custom Cost fields. Hope this helps.

Laureen:

In 2003, only enterprise custom outline codes are transfered to the cube and
only as dimensions and not as measures. When you upgrade to 2007, you'll be
able to configure the cubes with custom measures through the administrative
interface.
