We're playing with the portfolio modeler tool and are having issues with
capacity. We expect several hundred projects will make up our planning set
for proposed efforts with an avg of 5 to 10 generic resource demands for each
project. When we model this in a test environment on a fairly beefy server
the modeler tool starts but returns nothing. We can model small portfolios.
What's the real driver for capacity in the modeler, number of projects?
Phases? Resources per project/phase? Does anyone have a ballpark for the size
a portfolio can be and still allow the modeler to do its magic?
