Portfolio Modeler Error

J

Jeff Mattern

When trying to use the Portfolio Modeler feature in MS
Project Server 2002 I receive the following error:

An unexpected error has occured in the modeling server.
Please see your server administrator.

I understand that this is a known issue and Microsoft has
a fix for it. Does anybody know where I can obtain this
fix?I have been unable to locate it or any other updates
for Project Server 2002

Jeff,

probably changing the default database for the sql logins
'MSProjectServerUser' and
'MSProjectUser'
to
ProjectServer database will solve your problem.

Gary,

You're absolutely right. This can only help in case there is only one
project server database on the server. Best thing one can do is installing
the fix.

Gary, is MS planning to throw out a Service Pack for the product?

Peter

Peter:

Yes, but I can't tell you when. Sometime after the release of 2003 I'm sure.
