Portfolio Server 2006: redirecting to incorrect url after login pa

Hi,


I down loaded the Portfolio Server 2006 and Installetion Guide from MS site.

I go throgh all the steps given in Installetion Guide.



When I try to Use the application, I got the Login Page.

I entered the given password in Installetion Doc but I got the following
error.



The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its
dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is
temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that
it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /1/Project.aspx

Vishal,

This is a common thing when you start configuring MOPPS by using the
instruction (old). Remember that MOPPS needs two accounts to enter
inside ie. one is the admin account and then the resource account (if
you are performing both the roles). So first, use your admin
credentials to set up some resource accounts to use the optimizer,
dashboard & home page.

If you need more informations, I can send you the revise instructions
that I have prepared (this space is not enough to explain) Do write
