Portrait and landscape in the same document

In a document with multiple pages, is it possible to have
some pages oriented portrait and others oriented
landscape at the same time? If so, how do you do this?

Change sections (Insert > Break > Section Brake Next Page) and then arrange
the layout (File > Page Setup) for each section.

This can be done by breaking the documents into sections, and then indcating the orientation of the page for each of the sections. Place your insertion point at the end of the first section, go to Insert/Break/Section/New Page. Now put your insertion point at the end of the next section and repeat the insert break. Your doc now has three sections. Go to the middle section (check the satus bar at the bottom of the screen and make certain you are in section 2), and go to File/Page Setup/ and set the page to landscape. Be certain the option for Apply to... is set to this section, not Whole Document. Go to Print Preview and see how great it looks!

This doesn't work consistently. In some documents, I receive the error message -- Settings you chose for L&R margins, column spacing or paragraph indents are too large for the page width in some sections. THEY’RE NOT and haven't been changed. They’re mirrored. Nor have they been changed from previous Page Orientation changes made in the same document. WHERE’S THE GLITCH AND HOW DO I OVERCOME IT??????
