Position of cursor

All of a sudden when I open MS Word 2003 the cursor is all the way on the
top left, before it used to be about two inches down from the top left. I
tried dealing the normal.dot, but it did not fix the problem. I also
checked my Page Set up and it shows Top:1" Left:1.25" Gutter:0" Bottom:1"
Right1.25 Gutter Position: Left.

When I print documents they seem to print with the correct settings, does
anyone have an idea how I can fix this?

Thanks,

Len

You might have a corrupted normal.dot file. Get a copy of the normal.dot
file from your MS Office CD or from someone's computer that has it. It
should solve the problem. There was an old virus that attacks only the
normal.dot file when it gets onto the computer. Check McAfee or Symantec
website for more info on this virus type.

Hi,

Thank you for the replies, I did check to see if I had it in "Normal View,
it shows it is in "Print Layout". I also tried Arcarius76 suggestion, I got
a copy of normal.dot from my notebook and replaced the one in my desktop
with it, but unfortunally it did not work.

Anything else I can try?

Thank you,

Len
