Hi =?Utf-8?B?cmVhbHRlaw==?=,
How can I ensure the cursor is positioned inside a text box when the user
opens a document using a template. The page also contains other text boxes. I
would like to make sure the user cannot click and type inside the other text
boxes.
Well, you could use an AutoOpen macro to position the cursor.
As for the other boxes, I'd say you'd need to go into Word's picture editor and
create them there, so that users perceive them as "pictures" and can't type in
them.
That, or you need to rethink your design so that you can use document protection
and form fields. Since you don't tell us anything about what the desired end
result is, one can't really say much more...
