Hello everyone..
After much searching for the fact that in Access 2002/XP, the pivot
table options (like the toolbar buttons and the add to button) are
grayed out in some cases, I am happy to let you all know that I have
found a fix that worked on our machines...the other symptom is that
the pivot table background is white with no place to put fields in
rows or columns.
The cause: The Office XP Web Components are not properly installed.
The solution: Go to this site:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...59-0a86-4fb2-a7ee-5f3a499515dd&displaylang=en
and download and install the Office XP Web Components.
Again, there are no guarantees here but it worked for me. Feel free
